Ever feel like life is just… a lot? Like people are stepping all over you, the pressure is turning up the heat, and you’re barely keeping your head above water? If you’ve ever thrown your hands up and asked, "God, why is this happening to me?"—you’re not alone.
This exact feeling is captured in a powerful promise for us this month:
"You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance."- Psalm 66:12
Think of it like this: basic training in the army. They take ordinary young people and put them through an intense process. Early mornings, exhausting runs, crawling through mud, overcoming crazy obstacles. It’s designed to push them to their absolute limit. Why? Because the military needs to know who will quit when it gets uncomfortable and who will persevere under pressure. Those who make it through aren't just stronger—they’re qualified for the mission.
God is doing a similar work in us.
His calling on your life is huge. It’s an epic mission filled with purpose. But before He can launch us into that "place of abundance," He needs to know He can trust us in the tough times.
When you’re criticized unfairly... is He going to see you quit?
When a situation seems impossible... will you still choose to trust Him?
When the pressure is on and you feel overwhelmed... will you cling to Him or let go?
God isn't looking for perfect people; He’s looking for faithful ones—those who will keep running for Him even when they’re tired. So if you’re in the middle of the fire or feeling drowned by the water, don’t see it as a failure. See it as training. This is where you prove you’re ready for the abundance He has promised.
Ask God for the strength to endure for Him. Ask for a passion that keeps you running, a resilient heart that refuses to give up, and a trust that believes He is with you even in the flood and the flames.
Hold on. Keep going. He is faithful, and He will absolutely use your perseverance in a mighty way. Your place of abundance is coming.
Also let’s not keep this hope to ourselves. Think of someone in your life who needs to hear this promise. Invite them to join us and partner with us by supporting UTurn Ministries! Click There’s nothing like experiencing God’s abundance together.
May the Lord strengthen you for the journey and bring you into His overwhelming abundance.
With much prayers,
Samuel Dhinakaran
